Delete your account

Last updated October 2026

You can delete your My Counsel account and the data stored with it at any time, from the mobile app or the web app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. In the mobile app (iOS and Android)

  • Sign in to the My Counsel app with the account you want to delete.
  • Open the Profile tab and, under Account Actions, tap Delete Account.
  • Enter your password, type DELETE in the confirmation field, tap Delete My Account and confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out.

2. On the web

Sign in at app.mycounsel.pk, open Profile and choose Delete Account. The same password and DELETE confirmation apply.

3. What is deleted

When you delete your account we permanently remove:

  • Your profile and login credentials.
  • All cases and hearings you created, including any Lahore High Court sync numbers or CNICs you saved.
  • Attachments (documents and photos) uploaded to your hearings.
  • Notifications and the device tokens linked to your account.
  • If you own an office account: the office, its member records and pending invitations.

4. What may remain

Copies held in secure backups or system logs may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten in the normal course. We may also keep information we are legally required to retain. If you are a member of someone else's office, deleting your own account does not delete the cases that belong to the office owner.

5. Can't sign in?

If you cannot access the app or need help deleting your account, write to info@mycounsel.pk from the email address registered on the account. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we delete it.
